WorkWave is looking for an Associate Accountant to join our Shared Services Accounting/Finance department. You will play a key role in supporting essential accounting functions for the company.
What You'll Do
- Support the preparation and processing of journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close procedures.
- Participate in the maintenance of accurate financial records and documentation.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the accounting function.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Solid understanding of general accounting principles and procedures.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs.
- Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
Nice to Have
- Prior internship or professional experience in an accounting role.
- Familiarity with enterprise accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle).
- Interest in pursuing professional certifications (CPA/CMA).
Work Mode
This is a hybrid position based at our Holmdel, New Jersey office.
