About the Role
Manages campus operations for two schools with responsibility for achieving high performance in non-instructional areas including front office, student information systems, child nutrition, transportation, health services, business office, facilities, technology, recruitment, and enrollment.
Responsibilities
- Recruits and retains high-performing individuals in all operations roles across campuses.
- Establishes consistent systems for coaching, feedback, and staff development including regular check-ins, observations, and talent reviews.
- Uses the APO Priorities Calendar to monitor progress, evaluate team performance, and align support with principal and headquarters input.
- Plans and executes targeted student recruitment initiatives focused on families near school locations.
- Leads recruitment efforts with a 3:1 applicant-to-seat ratio per grade level, prioritizing high-quality applications that convert to enrollment.
- Oversees the onboarding process to ensure new families remain engaged through their first academic year.
- Ensures compliance with federal, state, and organizational requirements during student registration, including transfers and assessments.
- Communicates and reinforces attendance expectations clearly to all families, especially PreK and Kindergarten households.
- Manages teams to implement standardized attendance accountability systems aligned with ADA policies, including defined escalation procedures and attendance times.
- Tracks daily and cumulative attendance data, shares it with stakeholders, identifies trends, and adjusts strategies weekly.
- Applies proven methods and tracking tools to improve Average Daily Attendance (ADA) and meet Progress Toward Goals (PTGs).
- Partners with school leadership teams to inspire staff and execute ADA initiatives for maximum impact.
- Follows federal and state ADA regulations through regular audits, policy updates, and team monitoring.
- Collaborates with Academic Counselors to build a positive school culture through events, recognition programs, and student engagement.
- Implements a system to routinely collect, review, and respond to feedback from students and parents regarding non-instructional services.
- Manages the full onboarding journey for new families from application through the first year of enrollment.
- Ensures auxiliary services deliver exceptional customer service while meeting efficiency and financial benchmarks.
- Provides tactical oversight for Transportation and Child Nutrition (CNP), though does not directly manage these teams.
- Directly supervises, coaches, and develops Certified Nurse’s Assistants (CNAs) and Facilities Managers.
- Leads Beginning of Year (BOY) planning to ensure all positions are filled and staff attend summer training.
- Aims for an average score of 3.5 on both parent and staff BOY surveys.
- Targets a BOY quality scorecard result of 90 or higher.

Salaries for people entering this role typically fall between $94,771 and $111,356, commensurate with relevant experience and qualifications and in alignment with internal equity. This role is also eligible for a performance bonus based on organizational performance and goal attainment.
