The Department of Dermatology at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus is hiring an Assistant or Associate Professor in Mohs Surgery and Cosmetic Dermatology. This fellowship-trained dermatologic surgeon will enhance dermatologic surgery services, serve as Director of Cosmetic Dermatology, and develop a new clinical care and research service line.
What You'll Do
- Perform Mohs Surgery for the treatment of skin cancers, including complex tumors.
- Help oversee Mohs surgical lab operations, including histotechnicians, slide preparation, and quality control.
- Expand procedural dermatology services, including complex excisions and advanced reconstruction.
- Provide consultations for high-risk skin cancers and coordinate multidisciplinary care with oncology, pathology, and radiation oncology.
- Develop a new cosmetic dermatology program that incorporates novel treatments.
- Act as a clinical innovator with an interest in expanding departmental clinical trials to include cosmetic devices and technologies.
- Teach and assess trainees, including medical students, residents, and post-doctoral fellows, in cosmetic dermatology procedures.
What We're Looking For
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited Micrographic Surgery and Dermatologic Oncology Fellowship.
