NC Health Affiliates LLC DBA Blue Cross NC is hiring an Assistant Manager of Cleaning Services to lead and optimize the Unit Amenity & Cleaning Services operations at Orange Lake Resort. You will be responsible for the full scope of leadership, financial management, and process execution, ensuring a seamless supply of amenities and a high standard of cleanliness for our guests.
What You'll Do
- Lead a team responsible for supplying guest villas with all necessary supplies, including producing amenity bags and managing bulk deliveries.
- Manage team performance, drive productivity, schedule contract labor as needed, and handle all administrative duties related to leading people.
- Ensure proper ordering, supply, safe storage, and distribution of all amenity items based on historical data and occupancy forecasts.
- Analyze inventory reports, ordering behaviors, quality scores, and other metrics to identify and act on opportunities for improvement.
- Make recommendations to resort-level senior leadership on improving quality, evaluating new vendors, selecting products, and optimizing ordering behaviors.
- Own project and program management as defined by the resort, including supporting brand standard adherence through audits and quality inspections.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of experience in a hospitality or service-related environment.
- 2+ years of experience leading people.
- Demonstrated inventory management experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to anticipate, prevent, and solve complex problems.
- Demonstrated understanding of supply chain economics in either a work-related or advanced academic setting.
- Exceptional service delivery and problem resolution skills.
- Professional verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to simultaneously manage multiple modern technological platforms.
- Experience in a commercial cleaning setting, servicing multiple sites.
- Ability to maintain positive customer relations (internal and external) through communication, service, and follow-up.
- Experience managing inventory, forecasting, and ordering high quantities of items.
- Ability to interpret, communicate, and implement safety information including handling hazardous materials, driving safety, eye protection, and lifting safety.
- Must be at least 18 years of age with a valid driver’s license, and a minimum of 1 year of safe driving experience.
- Expert level mastery of Microsoft Office products.
- Must be fluent in English.
