Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) is hiring an Assistant Manager- Fire & Safety to ensure the safety and security of our site operations. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all fire safety protocols, lead emergency response, and conduct critical training for occupants and team members.
What You'll Do
- Perform equipment set-up upon arrival at a fire scene.
- Dispatch and accompany the Emergency Response Team (ERT).
- Prepare plans and execute fire, life safety, and evacuation drills.
- Conduct fire safety related trainings for team members and occupants.
- Complete appropriate rescue, firefighting, and salvage operations.
- Use established procedures to determine if individuals are trapped and secure their rescue.
- Perform periodic lift evacuation and rescue drills.
- Secure affected structures to prevent rekindling.
- Take inventory of all equipment after suppression and complete incident reports.
- Attend and provide information for pre-fire planning studies.
- Liaise with Government authorities for periodic renewal of NOCs.
- Report and maintain records of all site incidents.
- Keep all checklists and records updated for Fire equipment maintenance and training.
What We're Looking For
- Diploma or Degree in Fire Engineering or Fire Safety.
- 3-5 years of relevant work experience.
Nice to Have
- Good knowledge of current fire suppression and firefighting techniques.
- Knowledge of the principles and practices involved in emergency medical services.
Team & Environment
You will be part of a team that includes a Property Manager and two others, reporting directly to the Fire Safety Manager or Property Manager as required.
