Role Overview

This position supports the Front Office Manager in delivering exceptional service and operational excellence at a secluded luxury resort on Vietnam’s coastline, nestled within Nui Chua National Park. The Assistant Front Office Manager plays a key role in maintaining smooth daily operations, ensuring guest satisfaction, and upholding the highest standards of personalized hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily front desk functions, including check-in, check-out, and reservation handling, ensuring efficiency and guest comfort.
  • Assist in managing team schedules, training programs, and performance evaluations to foster a capable and motivated workforce.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to guest inquiries, special requests, and concerns, ensuring resolution with discretion and care.
  • Collaborate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure coordinated service delivery.
  • Monitor room availability, occupancy trends, and revenue performance to support optimal room utilization.
  • Ensure strict compliance with financial procedures, including cash handling, billing accuracy, and budget adherence.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of hotel policies, service protocols, and local offerings to support guest engagement.
  • Support revenue generation by promoting hotel services, amenities, and special offers.
  • Prepare regular reports on guest feedback, operational performance, and team development for management review.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of three years of management experience in hospitality, preferably within a luxury or high-service environment.
  • Proven understanding of front office operations with a hands-on leadership approach.
  • Proficiency in Property Management Systems, Micros, and Point of Sale platforms.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and team leadership skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing schedules in support of operational needs.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to service excellence and guest satisfaction.
