Kellanova is hiring an Assistant Brand Manager in Tokyo to play a key role in supporting brand strategy and leading execution for our cereal portfolio. You will fuel future growth, expand market share, and build brand love in Japan. This role is ideal for someone with a solid foundation in marketing and strong ambition to grow into a future brand leadership position.
What You'll Do
- Support the development of Mid-term strategy and annual brand plans.
- Lead the market analysis of market trends, competitors, and consumer behavior on a regular basis to uncover actionable insights.
- Initiate and lead projects aligned with strategic objectives, developing consumer-centric mix concepts, products, and communications.
- Execute integrated marketing campaigns across traditional, digital and social media.
- Conduct comprehensive post-launch analysis to inform future actions.
- Manage gate approvals budgets and collaborate cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless execution.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 2-3 years+ of experience in marketing, preferably in FMCG.
- Strong analytical skills with logical and strategic thinking.
- Excellent communication skills to lead cross-functional teams.
- Fluent in Japanese and business-level English.
- Agility and Flexibility to adapt in a dynamic environment.
Team & Environment
You will join the Cereal Marketing team, a group of 10 people within the Marketing, Japan organization, reporting to the Marketing Director or Brand Manager. You will work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment with a passionate team and be part of a diverse regional marketing network.
Work Mode
This position follows a hybrid work model and is based in Tokyo.
