Lam Research is hiring an Assembler 2 to play a vital role in our manufacturing operations. You will assemble electronic, electro-mechanical, and mechanical products for wafer fabrication equipment (WFE) within our lean manufacturing clean-room environment.

What You'll Do

Use computer-based instructions, schematics, hand tools, equipment, and fixtures to assemble and install parts and hardware for wafer fabrication equipment.
Demonstrate flexibility and responsiveness to changing priorities, including rework requirements, to maintain workflow and production schedules.
Ensure correct part delivery and perform visual inspection of components before installation.
Contribute to audits by conducting visual inspections, verifying checklists, and performing leak checks as needed.
Support a safe work environment by following safe work practices, adhering to safety guidelines, utilizing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and following Lockout Tagout (LOTO) policies.
Provide timely, clear communication to stakeholders regarding production status, tasks completed, signoffs, detailed descriptions, continuous improvement ideas, and shift pass downs.

What We're Looking For

1-2 years of mechanical or related assembly experience.
An Associate's Degree, Technical Certificate, or Diploma in Engineering or a related field.
Effective written and verbal communication skills in English.
Ability to work 12-hour shifts in a fast-paced and time-sensitive environment.
Proficiency in computer-based data systems, applications, and Microsoft Office software.
Proficient use of a variety of hand tools and electronic equipment for assembly and maintenance tasks.
Frequently position oneself (e.g., bend, stoop, reach, walk, sit, twist, squat, kneel, climb, stand) to perform job tasks, including moving parts and equipment weighing up to 35 pounds.
Ability to distinguish various wires by color, size, thickness, and markings.
