Summary: Responsible for assembling parts to produce products. Job Duties: • Study assembly instructions • Gather and prepare parts and tools • Assemble components following precise instructions • Resolve assembly problems and notify supervisors about complex issues • Maintain inventory levels and keep equipment/tools in top condition Experience and Education: • Works under direct supervision • Handles basic issues, escalates complex problems to higher-level staff • Possesses entry-level knowledge of subject matter • Requires high school diploma, 0-2 years of experience preferred Reports to: • Department head or manager Competencies: • Strong ability to understand and follow directions • Basic computer skills • Excellent manual dexterity At Sonoco Products Company, we offer a comprehensive total rewards package, including competitive pay and benefits. *Benefits listed below are for U.S. employees.
