Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is hiring a Groundperson to perform essential vegetation management and equipment maintenance duties for our crews. This role is central to the safety and efficiency of our field operations.
What You'll Do
- Operate a chainsaw to cut brush, logs, and stumps.
- Gather and feed brush and debris into a woodchipper.
- Apply chemical herbicide to right-of-way areas.
- Utilize hose and spray nozzle to treat remote areas.
- Service vehicles and equipment, maintaining them in neat, clean, and specified mechanical order.
- Assist in mixing herbicide.
- Work on unlevel ground, around hazardous equipment, falling debris, and excessive equipment noise.
- Work in all temperatures and weather conditions, exposed to nature including irritating plants, insects, and dust.
What We're Looking For
- Must be 18 years-of-age or older.
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) required.
Nice to Have
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience a plus.
