InterVarsity Christian Fellowship/USA is hiring a part-time, remote Asian American Online Student Preaching Intern. This role is focused on learning the fundamentals of college campus ministry within our Undergraduate Ministries. You will develop leadership, spiritual disciplines, and discern God's call to ministry service, contributing to our mission to build bolder, broader, and more ethnically diverse witnessing communities.
What You'll Do
- Participate fully with a campus ministry team to cast spiritual vision and direction.
- Contribute to the team’s plans for spiritual growth and transformation.
- Teach students to love, study, and apply Scripture to their lives.
- Seek opportunities to proclaim and demonstrate the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
- Learn to guide chapters in strategic thinking regarding witness to the university.
- Learn to model and assist students and faculty in growing in their love for God's people of every ethnicity and culture.
- Encourage a prayerful lifestyle in students, especially focusing on those who do not yet follow Jesus.
- Engage positively with supervision and training from your staff ministry trainer and/or director.
- Assist with reporting as assigned.
- Serve as an ambassador of InterVarsity to individual ministry partners and churches.
What We're Looking For
- A follower of Jesus Christ.
- Willingness to annually affirm InterVarsity’s Statement of Agreement.
- A developing passion for evangelism.
- Demonstrated campus ministry leadership qualities including initiative, self-awareness, cultural awareness, communication, professionalism, eagerness to learn, cross-cultural competence, teamwork, and relational maturity.
- Current enrollment in a four-year or community college (specific year requirements apply).

You will report directly to a staff ministry trainer and/or director.
