Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors is hiring a Software Architect to lead the design and oversight of robust software architecture across dynamic, agile environments. You will ensure technical solutions align with organizational standards, driving quality, scalability, and innovation.
What You'll Do
- Define and oversee software architecture to ensure alignment with organizational standards and project goals.
- Apply best practices in MVC architecture, microservices, and design patterns to build scalable and maintainable systems.
- Supervise the integration of DevSecOps practices and contribute hands-on in Java and PHP development.
- Guide database architecture using MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Redis, ensuring performance and reliability.
- Lead initiatives in containerization, version control, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code.
- Contribute to innovation by promoting a mindset of entrepreneurship, resilience, and transformation within the team.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s or postgraduate degree in IT (completed, with diploma).
- Strong knowledge of software architecture models including MVC, microservices, and design patterns.
- Hands-on experience with Java and/or PHP in enterprise-level applications.
- Expertise in MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis, and other relational and NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with messaging systems, container orchestration, version control, CI/CD, and infrastructure as code.
- Understanding and application of DevSecOps practices and tools.
