As an Area Manager, you will guide a group of early learning centres across the Newcastle and Hunter region, ensuring each delivers high-quality care, regulatory compliance, and strong operational performance. You'll play a key role in shaping leadership capability, supporting Centre Directors through coaching and performance development, and fostering a culture rooted in child safety, integrity, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and development support to Centre Directors, helping them achieve sustainable, high-performing operations
- Monitor and improve key performance areas including occupancy, budget adherence, workforce stability, and financial outcomes
- Ensure all centres meet or exceed compliance standards, with robust governance and child protection practices embedded in daily operations
- Collaborate with central teams in Education, People & Culture, and operations to strengthen organisational capability and culture
- Develop relationships with local communities and stakeholders to support enrolment growth and positive reputation

- A demonstrated commitment to child wellbeing and safety in regulated environments
- Proven leadership experience managing multiple sites in early learning, education, or similar service sectors
- Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and occupancy planning
