Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of advanced Ansible Automation Platform solutions tailored to Financial Services clients
- Convert regulatory, risk, availability, and operational needs into secure, scalable, and reusable automation frameworks, including playbooks, roles, and collections
- Act as the main technical liaison and trusted advisor for automation strategy across assigned customer accounts
- Lead pre-sales discussions, discovery sessions, maturity evaluations, and proof-of-concept initiatives to uncover and prioritize automation use cases
- Develop and deploy production-ready automation content for infrastructure setup, configuration management, app deployment, compliance automation, security workflows, and ongoing operations
- Integrate Ansible Automation Platform with client environments, including public clouds (AWS, Azure, GCP), VMware, networking infrastructure, ITSM tools (especially ServiceNow), CMDBs, identity providers, and secret management systems
- Diagnose and resolve intricate, cross-system automation issues in live environments
- Coach customer teams and junior consultants on Ansible best practices, GitOps workflows, Event-Driven Ansible, and DevOps principles
- Create and share reusable automation assets such as roles, collections, and reference designs for internal and community use
- Maintain expert-level knowledge of the Ansible Automation Platform suite, including updates on features like Automation Controller, Execution Environments, Private Automation Hub, Content Collections, Lightspeed, and Event-Driven Ansible
- Hold and maintain at least two current Red Hat certifications, such as RHCE, Ansible Automation, Advanced Automation, or OpenShift
