Welocalize is hiring a freelance Arabic Quality Control Specialist to ensure the quality of content across global translation, localization, and QA testing projects. You will be a key player in maintaining the linguistic integrity and cultural relevance of materials for Arabic-speaking markets.
What You'll Do
- Perform meticulous quality control checks on translated and localized content in Arabic.
- Ensure linguistic accuracy, consistency, and cultural appropriateness across all project types.
- Identify and report errors related to grammar, terminology, formatting, and functionality.
- Collaborate with project teams to provide feedback and uphold quality standards.
- Work on a diverse range of projects requiring Arabic language expertise.
What We're Looking For
- Native-level proficiency in Modern Standard Arabic and deep cultural knowledge of the Arab world.
- Proven experience in quality control, linguistic testing, or translation review for Arabic content.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to spot subtle linguistic and contextual errors.
- Excellent written communication skills in both Arabic and English.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasks in a freelance capacity.
Work Mode
This is a fully remote freelance position. We welcome candidates located in Saudi Arabia, across Europe, and from worldwide locations.
