What You'll Do
Perform thorough quality checks on localized content for software, mobile applications, and documentation to ensure linguistic precision and cultural relevance. Execute test cases with accuracy, exploring user interfaces to detect both functional and language-related issues. Report defects using internal and client-specific bug-tracking systems, providing clear, actionable feedback.
Act as a linguistic authority for Lithuanian from Lithuania, resolving language queries and ensuring consistency in tone, grammar, spelling, and formatting. Verify that translations align with established style guides, glossaries, and project-specific quality benchmarks. When necessary, translate source text from English into natural, idiomatic Lithuanian.
Collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams, prioritizing tasks and escalating issues as needed. Confirm that bug fixes are correctly implemented and meet quality expectations before closure.
Requirements
- Native or near-native proficiency in Lithuanian, with deep cultural understanding of Lithuania
- Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to linguistic quality
