About the Role
This role involves reviewing and validating German-language audio annotations to ensure high data quality for use in speech recognition systems, with attention to linguistic accuracy and labeling precision.
Responsibilities
- Review time-aligned transcriptions of spoken German audio
- Identify and correct mislabeled or inaccurate annotations
- Ensure consistency with annotation guidelines across samples
- Flag problematic audio clips for further review
- Maintain high accuracy standards in quality checks
- Provide feedback on ambiguous or unclear utterances
- Follow documentation protocols for error reporting
- Work within defined turnaround times for task completion
- Collaborate with team leads on edge cases
- Adapt to updates in annotation specifications
- Verify speaker diarization labels where applicable
- Check phonetic and prosodic markers for correctness
- Assess background noise tagging accuracy
- Review metadata associated with audio files
- Ensure compliance with data privacy standards
- Participate in calibration sessions with peers
- Report tool interface issues affecting workflow
- Track time spent on verification tasks
- Contribute to improving quality benchmarks
- Respond to periodic performance evaluations
