About the Role

Responsibilities
- Inspect HVAC systems to identify malfunctions or performance issues
- Install new heating and cooling units according to manufacturer guidelines
- Repair or replace defective components such as compressors, thermostats, and motors
- Perform routine maintenance on client systems to prevent breakdowns
- Test system functionality after service or installation
- Use diagnostic tools to measure system performance and refrigerant levels
- Follow safety protocols when handling electrical and mechanical components
- Maintain accurate service records and documentation
- Respond to emergency service calls as needed
- Communicate clearly with clients about system status and recommended actions
- Ensure compliance with local building codes and environmental regulations
- Handle refrigerants in accordance with EPA guidelines
- Collaborate with team members on complex installations
- Operate service vehicles safely and maintain vehicle inventory
- Stock and organize tools and replacement parts
- Adhere to company service procedures and quality standards
- Provide updates to dispatch or supervisors on job progress
- Work in various environments including tight spaces and elevated areas
- Climb ladders and carry heavy equipment as required
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical control systems
- Support apprentices or junior technicians when assigned
- Attend training sessions to stay current with technology and regulations
- Follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction
- Maintain professional appearance and conduct on job sites
- Respond promptly to scheduling changes and service demands
