As an AppOps/DevOps Engineer at Intuit, you will be responsible for ensuring the scalability, reliability, and operational excellence of Intuit's growing web-based services. You will manage deployment and monitoring architectures, lead incident and change management processes, and drive continuous improvements across operational practices.
What You'll Do
- Focus on the day-to-day operations of rapidly expanding web-based offerings
- Ensure service scalability and reliability
- Drive operational excellence for connected services that a business offers to its customers
- Apply technology knowledge and operational best practices to drive design, development, and implementation of operational standards and capabilities
- Analyze and synthesize a variety of inputs to drive the end-to-end incident management process for multiple offerings
- Create, develop, and manage the deployment architecture for the application
- Develop the monitoring architecture and implement monitoring agents, dashboards, escalations, and alerts
- Develop and drive incident management processes, playbooks, and stakeholder communication mechanisms
- Oversee change management and configuration management operating mechanisms
- Be part of a rotating on-call schedule where you serve as the point of contact 12x7
- Drive root cause analysis (RCA) and risk management processes
- Drive ongoing improvements and efficiencies in operational practices, tools, and processes across the business unit and Intuit-wide
