Eventogy is looking for a DevOps Engineer on a contract basis to strengthen our cloud infrastructure, improve automation and reliability, and evolve our deployment and monitoring practices. You'll be the driving force behind the efficiency, security, and scalability of Eventogy's cloud platforms, owning AWS environments and CI/CD processes.
What You'll Do
- Design, manage, and optimise AWS infrastructure supporting multiple production platforms.
- Enhance and maintain CI/CD pipelines, enabling rapid, reliable, and secure deployments.
- Strengthen security, identity, and compliance controls in alignment with ISO 27001 standards.
- Implement effective monitoring, alerting, and observability to ensure high availability and early issue detection.
- Contribute to disaster recovery and business-continuity planning, including backup and multi-region resilience strategies.
- Drive cost optimisation and performance efficiency across AWS services.
- Collaborate with developers to streamline build, test, and release workflows.
- Document infrastructure, standards, and procedures to support maintainability and knowledge sharing.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years’ experience in DevOps, Cloud, or Infrastructure Engineering roles.
- Proven expertise with AWS (EC2, RDS, S3, IAM, networking, monitoring, etc.).
- Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, CodePipeline, Jenkins, etc.).
- Solid understanding of Linux systems, networking, and security best practices.
- Familiarity with Docker and container-based deployments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a structured approach to troubleshooting.
- Strong communicator who enjoys close collaboration with developers.
Nice to Have
- Experience supporting PHP (CodeIgniter/Laravel) or JavaScript-based SaaS applications.
- Grasp of Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Exposure to ISO 27001 or regulated environments.
- Awareness of cost-efficiency and scaling strategies in AWS.
