About the Team: The CrowdStrike Malware Research Center serves as the core foundation of Falcon's malware detection and prevention capabilities. Our team specializes in comprehensively understanding emerging threat landscapes and establishing strategic detection targets. We are responsible for evaluating our technological capabilities, assessing machine learning and behavioral protection effectiveness against contemporary threats. When performance gaps emerge, our team proactively develops strategies to enhance detection mechanisms and overall protective capabilities. We conduct pioneering research to enable technological advancement through innovative prototyping and sophisticated machine learning techniques supporting our flagship Falcon product. Collaborating across multiple CrowdStrike divisions, we ensure comprehensive and adaptive customer environment protection. About the Role: We are seeking an Applied Data Scientist to develop and assess machine learning models within the malware domain. This role represents a critical intersection between cybersecurity expertise and advanced machine learning techniques for combating sophisticated digital threats.
