Jobgether is hiring an Applications Engineer - Media to provide technical expertise for water treatment solutions. In this remote role, you will influence equipment design, develop accurate project estimates, and ensure optimal media performance for contaminant removal in a collaborative environment.
What You'll Do
- Collaborate with sales teams to influence equipment design and develop accurate project cost estimates during bidding.
- Review project specifications, plans, and P&IDs to assess media requirements and design solutions.
- Create technical support documents, process improvements, and communication materials for stakeholders.
- Conduct media application engineering, evaluating water quality and performance of GAC, IX resins, Organo Clay, and other media.
- Coordinate media sourcing and procurement with global suppliers.
- Develop standard media specifications, establish QA/QC procedures, and support NSF certification processes.
- Provide training and technical support to internal teams, assist with project presentations, and participate in trade associations.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Chemical Engineering.
- 2-4 years of applications engineering experience in the water treatment industry, with media expertise.
- Technical proficiency in project evaluation, media testing, and pre-sales support.
- Familiarity with RSSCT testing, technical specifications, and water treatment standards.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced remote environment.
- Commitment to sustainable practices, inclusive teamwork, and high health and safety standards.
Nice to Have
- Experience with AdDesignS is a plus.
