Lattice Semiconductor seeks an Applications Engineer to join our IP Product Enablement team. In this role, you will serve as a vital technical bridge between our customers and our factory, clearing hurdles and delivering reliable solutions for high-speed IPs and designs.
What You'll Do
- Support high-speed IPs, designs, vendors, and customers with current and future industry-leading devices.
- Bridge the customer-factory relationship to clear technical hurdles and provide timely, reliable solutions.
- Help design and execute 'best-in-class' solutions for low power, small form factor, high reliability, and performance.
- Participate in all aspects of product development, from architecture and specification through documentation, market release, and customer support.
What We're Looking For
- BS/MS in EE with 10+ years of relevant experience.
- Hands-on FPGA and/or firmware bring-up/debugging experience using oscilloscopes and signal analyzers.
- Expertise in FPGA design flows, Verilog and/or VHDL.
- Outstanding English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Hands-on experience delivering revenue-generating hardware products.
- Ability to work independently and also in a team environment.
Nice to Have
- Experience with memory standards or high-speed interfaces.
- Experience with a variety of physical interface standards, including SSTL, HSTL, LVSTL, HSUL.
- Experience in timing closure, PLL/DLLs, physical interface strategies, and signal integrity.
- Hands-on FPGA development experience, including RTL development and verification.
