The Applications Analyst is responsible for evaluating and refining customer application processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and alignment with strategic objectives. This role ensures that internal departments receive timely and accurate support by overseeing workflow direction, managing project timelines, and coordinating with stakeholders across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end assessments of customer application workflows to identify opportunities for optimization in time and resource utilization
- Guide Application Representatives in daily operations to meet departmental requirements in compliance with company policies
- Support IT-driven system updates and integration projects, including executing test cases for critical functions such as allocation
- Collaborate across departments to resolve operational challenges identified during process reviews
- Deliver targeted training sessions—both individually and in groups—on application tools and procedures
- Serve as a subject matter expert for Order Management on enterprise-wide initiatives
- Execute bulk transaction requests as directed by leadership and respond to internal inquiries promptly
- Develop training materials, identify skill gaps, and lead ongoing learning efforts
- Oversee project coordination, workload prioritization, and team direction to ensure on-time delivery of outcomes
Qualifications
Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree or college diploma in Business Administration, Information Systems, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field, along with at least three years of relevant experience. Proficiency in SAP Sales & Distribution and Process Automation is essential, as is advanced skill in MS Office applications—including Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint—and Smartsheets.
Success in this role requires a proactive mindset, strong organizational abilities, and the capacity to work independently while driving continuous improvement. Candidates should demonstrate sound decision-making, data analysis capabilities, and a commitment to challenging and refining existing processes. Excellent communication and collaboration skills are necessary for engaging with business partners and influencing cross-functional outcomes.
Work Environment
This is a hybrid position based in Woodbridge, ON, with a work model requiring on-site presence Monday through Thursday. Compensation & Benefits
The annual salary range for this position is $65,000 to $85,000 CAD, with an additional annual bonus tied to both company and individual performance.
