SS&C Eze is hiring an Application Support Engineer to focus on incident response and production environment stability for our financial services technology platform. You'll be a key player in ensuring system availability and performance.
What You'll Do
- Manage incident response for production hosted environments.
- Monitor application and infrastructure performance to ensure stability and availability.
- Respond to and resolve production incidents quickly, performing root cause analysis where necessary.
- Execute deployments and configuration changes in production and non-production environments following change management processes.
- Communicate effectively with development, operations, and business teams to provide updates and coordinate resolutions.
- Maintain accurate documentation of incidents, fixes, and operational procedures while identifying opportunities for process improvement.
What We're Looking For
- An IT degree, or equivalent experience.
- 4+ years of experience working in an Application Support role.
- Solid understanding of DevOps practices and methods.
- Working knowledge of SDLC principles and methodologies.
- Experience working with ITIL-based processes.
- Understanding of hosting production environments on AWS and Virtual Environments.
- Advanced knowledge of Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery build pipelines.
- Experience working with infrastructure as code.
- A passion for automating manual processes.
