ICCREA BANCA SPA is looking for an Application Release Management Junior - DevOps Engineer to join the Release Management unit within the Support Test & Assistance area. In this role, you will oversee software installations and administer the daily operations of the application system baseline.
What You'll Do
- Support monitoring of application component integrity during development and testing phases, contributing to impact analysis.
- Collaborate on release activities following Application Change Management processes, supporting senior staff in planning and coordinating deployments.
- Support routine application maintenance, including service request management and monitoring of KPIs and SLAs.
- Assist in ensuring compliance with access segregation between development and production environments within banking security policies.
- Support activity tracking and prepare technical documentation using tools like Jira and Confluence.
- Collaborate on application deployment and orchestration on target environments, monitoring releases for stability, security, and performance.
- Support configuration and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins) and versioning activities with GitHub and/or GitLab.
- Contribute to analysis and resolution of security issues and vulnerabilities using DevSecOps approaches.
What We're Looking For
- Degree preferably in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or similar.
- 2-4 years of experience in the IT field, preferably in structured banking, financial contexts, or consulting firms serving the sector.
- Participation in application lifecycle management initiatives, supporting release, maintenance, and monitoring in medium or high-criticality environments.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of Java and basics of application integration (APIs, REST services) and Cloud Computing (IaaS, PaaS).
- Use of the Atlassian platform (Jira, Confluence).
- Operational experience with Jenkins CI/CD pipelines, automation tools, and versioning management with GitHub and/or GitLab.
- Basic knowledge of Docker and initial exposure to Kubernetes.
- Ability to read, modify, and debug scripts or components in Java, PHP, PERL, Python, Bash.
- Possession of certifications or training in cloud computing and DevSecOps methodologies.
