About the Role
The individual in this role will provide technical expertise during product selection, system design, and integration phases, ensuring solutions meet customer and industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with sales teams to define appropriate product configurations for customer needs
- Analyze system requirements and recommend suitable components or modifications
- Develop technical documentation for product applications and use cases
- Support pre-sales activities with engineering-level product insights
- Troubleshoot application-related issues reported by customers or field teams
- Conduct performance evaluations of systems under various operating conditions
- Interface with manufacturing teams to resolve design compatibility challenges
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements
- Assist in validating new products through testing and real-world simulation
- Provide feedback to R&D based on field performance and customer usage patterns
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure component specifications align with system needs
- Deliver technical training to internal teams and external partners
- Prepare calculations and models to predict system behavior
- Respond to customer inquiries involving application constraints or environmental factors
- Participate in design reviews for custom or specialized projects
- Ensure compliance with safety and efficiency guidelines during integration
- Track and report on recurring application challenges for continuous improvement
- Support aftermarket service teams with diagnostic and repair guidance
- Evaluate retrofit opportunities for legacy installations
- Use engineering software tools to simulate system performance
- Maintain accurate records of application projects and outcomes
- Work with quality assurance to resolve field failures linked to application errors
- Contribute to product lifecycle documentation updates
- Assist in developing standard application guidelines
