Copeland is hiring an Application Engineer to be the technical expert for our HVAC/R products. You will manage technical queries, conduct training, and develop solutions inspired by customer needs to drive business growth.
What You'll Do
- Acquire and maintain proficiency in all Copeland products and services, with a focus on system design and operation.
- Provide application and technical support to OEMs, wholesalers, and end users via phone and email.
- Visit customer sites to review systems and diagnose problems.
- Organize training material and conduct technical seminars on product application and installation.
- Ensure customers understand key application points to prevent mis-applications.
- Analyze product and system performance data to suggest cost or performance improvements.
- Support field personnel and customer R&D projects, including new product development.
- Provide tangible application and commissioning support using Copeland Variable Speed and integration solutions.
- Lead new business development activities in adjacent business areas.
- Develop technical solutions for customer pain points, connecting them to the new product development funnel.
- Actively join project sales activities with the country sales team to provide value-added technical sales support.
- Perform research through technical literature surveys or HVAC/R show participation.
Team & Environment
You will report to a Supervisor and collaborate with in-region vertical marketing, business leaders, the country sales team, and the Asia R&D team.
