Jobgether is hiring a Senior API Developer to play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining robust, scalable, and resilient microservices architectures. You will work on migrating legacy systems to modern frameworks, integrating asynchronous event-driven solutions, and implementing cloud-native API services.

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and cloud-native technologies.
• Migrate legacy services to modern frameworks.
• Implement resilient API designs, caching strategies, and asynchronous communication using Kafka or similar message brokers.
• Build, test, and deploy APIs using CI/CD pipelines on platforms like OpenShift or Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Collaborate with teams to analyze requirements, define technical solutions, and maintain high-quality documentation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in distributed systems to ensure reliability and performance.
• Mentor junior developers and share best practices for API development and cloud-native architectures.

What We're Looking For

• Extensive experience in Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful API development.
• Proven experience designing fault-tolerant, scalable microservices architectures.
• Hands-on experience with message queues, Kafka, or event-driven systems.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure preferred) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with service migration from legacy frameworks to modern architectures.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in distributed teams.

Nice to Have

• Experience in Healthcare Payer domain, Terraform, or Kubernetes-based deployment.
