Jobgether is hiring a Senior Backend Engineer to design and build scalable, secure, and maintainable backend systems that power core business processes. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate complex requirements into robust technical solutions, contribute to architectural decisions, and mentor junior engineers.

What You'll Do

Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade Java applications using modern frameworks and best practices.
Architect and implement RESTful APIs with a focus on security, scalability, and maintainability.
Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Mentor junior engineers, conduct code reviews, and help improve team practices.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in production environments.
Participate in architectural and design discussions to ensure high-quality technical solutions.

What We're Looking For

Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Java development.
Strong expertise in the Spring Framework ecosystem (Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring Data JPA).
Deep understanding of RESTful API design principles and security standards, including OAuth 2.0, JWT, and RBAC.
Solid knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar) and SQL.
Strong problem-solving skills, ability to work independently, and effective communication in a collaborative environment.

Nice to Have

Experience working with microservices, distributed systems, or container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
Familiarity with message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ) and ETL/data integration frameworks.
