Manukai is looking for a Software Engineer - Systems & Integration to design, develop, and continuously improve our solution. You will drive architectural direction and implement system integrations, working closely with the CTO and engineering team to create operable, scalable, and maintainable products.

What You'll Do

Develop and maintain the backbone of Manukai’s software stack.
Lead the integration of Manukai’s software into external systems, including Siemens NX CAM.
Automate and optimize processes and workflows.
Deep dive into problems to find and create efficient solutions.
Maintain high software quality and sustainable development practices.
Review code and provide feedback to ensure best practices (e.g., testability, efficiency, and style).
Document architecture and integration processes.

What We're Looking For

Advanced degree (MSc or PhD) in a quantitative field, or significant professional experience building complex software systems in lieu of a degree.
Strong experience in software engineering, with solid exposure to backend development and systems integration.
Advanced knowledge of C# / .NET and Python.
Strong software design and agile development skills.
Extensive knowledge of Windows operating systems.
Experience designing or maintaining data interfaces between applications and relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL).
Good understanding of version control, testing, continuous integration, build, deployment, and monitoring.
Eligibility to work in Switzerland.

Nice to Have

Experience in CNC machining technologies such as machines and machining processes, controllers, CAD, CAM, and simulation software.
