About the Role
This position involves performing maintenance, inspections, and repairs on aircraft to ensure safe and reliable operations in Pacific regions. The mechanic will work closely with engineering and operations teams to uphold regulatory standards and support evolving aircraft systems.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine and unscheduled maintenance on aircraft systems and components
- Perform inspections in accordance with federal aviation regulations
- Troubleshoot mechanical and structural issues on aircraft
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities
- Support aircraft modifications and upgrades as directed
- Collaborate with engineering staff on technical solutions
- Ensure compliance with safety and airworthiness standards
- Operate ground support equipment safely
- Inspect aircraft after maintenance to verify readiness
- Install avionics and mechanical components
- Follow maintenance manuals and technical documentation
- Respond to in-service mechanical issues promptly
- Assist in aircraft pre-flight and post-flight evaluations
- Participate in safety audits and process reviews
- Maintain tooling and equipment in working condition
- Work in various environmental conditions including remote sites
- Support emergency maintenance operations when needed
- Ensure proper handling and storage of aircraft parts
- Adhere to company maintenance procedures and checklists
- Communicate findings and recommendations to supervisors
Compensation
Competitive hourly wage based on experience

On-site with travel to Pacific locations

Part of the aircraft operations and maintenance team supporting Pacific-based missions
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds regularly
- Frequent bending, climbing, and standing for extended periods
- Ability to work in outdoor environments with variable weather
Work Environment
- Primarily hangar and airfield settings
- Occasional work at remote Pacific sites
- May include weekend or on-call shifts
