Capgemini is looking for an Android Developer to join our team focused on building robust, secure banking applications. In this role, you will leverage modern Android development practices to ensure application stability, security, and an excellent user experience while collaborating with multidisciplinary specialists to implement innovative solutions.
What You'll Do
- Build applications using Kotlin and Java, ensuring they are performant, stable, and fully integrated with banking services and internal APIs.
- Ensure application stability through good development practices, continuous testing, and preventive analysis of production behavior.
- Develop code aligned with banking security standards to protect customer data confidentiality and integrity.
- Collaborate with design teams to implement responsive, accessible interfaces following Material Design and UX guidelines.
- Participate in building, maintaining, and improving CI/CD pipelines for efficient distribution of new versions and updates.
- Document technical solutions, architecture decisions, and best practices to facilitate application maintenance and evolution.
- Actively participate in migrating legacy components to modern technologies like Kotlin, Jetpack Libraries, and Jetpack Compose.
- Apply a high capacity for problem-solving and debugging.
What We're Looking For
- Experience with platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Solid knowledge of Kotlin and Java, with experience in MVVM, MVI, or Clean Architecture.
- Advanced use of Android Studio, Android Profiler, ADB, Firebase Crashlytics, and network analysis tools like Postman or Charles Proxy.
- Experience in managing local databases (Room, SQLite) and integration with RESTful services.
- Proficiency with Git and collaborative workflows (Gitflow or similar).
- Ability to work in high-demand environments with a focus on quality, stability, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to work under pressure, quality-oriented, and results-driven.
