Responsibilities
- Design data models that reflect actual business operations.
- Collaborate with data analysts, BI teams, and business leaders to understand data meaning and business value, and structure data accordingly.
- Write and test dbt models to transform raw data into reliable data assets.
- Build automated tests to detect anomalies and data flow interruptions immediately.
- Create semantic layers and metric definitions for governed data access by analysts, BI developers, and AI applications.
- Teach colleagues data modeling patterns and best practices to enhance their skills.
