Bombardier is looking for an Analyst, Strategy and Business Development to support long-term planning, product investment governance, and key strategic decisions for the Bombardier Defense business sector. A central component involves supporting the internal budget process tied to the strategic product roadmap.

What You'll Do

• Contribute to data collection, financial modeling, and analysis for the development of the five-year strategic plan.
• Prepare presentations and documents for strategic workshops and executive alignment sessions.
• Participate in monitoring dashboards and performance indicators linked to strategic objectives.
• Support the coordination of the quarterly budget update process for Bombardier Defense product and capability investments.
• Ensure consistency between investment budgets and the strategic product roadmap.
• Consolidate and validate cross-functional contributions to provide an integrated and accurate view of investments, risks, and gaps.
• Contribute to the preparation of executive documents summarizing budget results, strategic implications, and recommendations.
• Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and opportunity assessments for key mission areas (Maritime Patrol, ISR, AEW, Head of State aircraft, etc.).
• Contribute to the development of capability roadmaps and investment priorities for each mission segment.
• Participate in scenario development, opportunity sizing, and portfolio evaluation.
• Track the progress of strategic initiatives and support the identification of risks, gaps, and mitigation plans.
• Support benchmarking, research, and evaluations related to partnerships and opportunities in new markets.
• Contribute to the preparation of documents and business cases within the scope of product strategy activities.

What We're Looking For

• Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5 to 10 years of experience in strategic analysis, financial modeling, business planning, or consulting.
• Excellent analytical skills and advanced proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and strategic modeling tools.
• Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex data into clear recommendations.
• Strong communication skills and aptitude for preparing materials for senior executives.

Nice to Have

• Experience in aerospace/defense is an asset.
