The Bank of Thailand is hiring an Analyst or Senior Analyst for our Planning and Budget Department. You will play a central role in strategic planning and financial analysis, ensuring the Bank's plans and budgets are cost-effective, strategically aligned, and sustainable.
What You'll Do
- Review investment plans and department budgets for alignment with strategy, necessity, priority, and risk.
- Coordinate and advise departments on planning and budget formulation for efficient and compliant operations.
- Monitor and analyze plan implementation and budget usage to highlight key issues and improve efficiency.
- Develop annual performance evaluation reports for senior management review.
- Develop processes and implement tools for data management, monitoring, and analysis of plans and performance.
- Monitor strategic developments of other central banks to inform planning and budgeting recommendations.
- Formulate budget allocation policy frameworks, prepare medium-term budgets, and propose strategic management approaches.
- Prepare annual revenue forecasts and expense budgets for executive and board consideration.
- Establish Value for Money evaluation guidelines for investment decisions.
- Develop planning and budget database systems and dashboards for effective monitoring.
- Serve as secretariat for the Planning and Budget Committee.
- Review and analyze annual budgets for departments, ensuring alignment with strategy, benefits, and sustainability.
- Study and develop budget-related processes, data, and systems for efficient management.
What We're Looking For
- Thai nationality.
- Age not exceeding 35 years at the start date.
- For males: completed military service or exemption, with proof.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance/Banking, Economics, Business Administration, or a relevant field.
- English proficiency: TOEIC score of 550 or above, with results valid within 2 years of application.
Nice to Have
- Experience in plan analysis, project feasibility, investment evaluation, project management, or corporate strategy.
- Experience in budget planning, forecasting, in-depth analysis, and preparing management information systems (MIS).
- Experience in cost/business data analysis or feasibility analysis of projects and investments.
- Experience in developing/managing data or using ERP/SAP systems (FM, CO, PS modules).
- Experience in budget analysis, financial analysis, or internal audit.

You will join the Planning and Budget Department and serve as part of the secretariat team reporting to the Planning and Budget Committee.
