Analyst
Role Overview
This position supports Client Managers, Senior Client Managers, and Account Executives in managing and expanding a specialized portfolio of construction project insurance clients. The Analyst plays a key role in delivering consistent, high-quality service by coordinating between internal teams, clients, and insurance carriers.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in managing a dedicated book of construction project insurance accounts, covering General Liability, Builders Risk, Pollution, and Professional Liability lines
- Collaborate with internal construction and real estate specialists, while also engaging directly with clients and underwriters
- Maintain strong relationships across teams and with external partners to uphold service excellence and meet industry benchmarks
- Review policy documents—including quotes, binders, and endorsements—for accuracy and completeness
- Collect and organize exposure data for new and renewal business submissions
- Work with the Technical Services team to process certificates of insurance, invoices, and compliance documentation
- Stay informed on construction liability market trends, carrier practices, and claims developments
- Support resolution of billing and accounting discrepancies as needed
Required Qualifications
- Proven ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on clear, professional interaction
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Flexibility to work outside standard hours and travel when required
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in risk management, insurance, or a related business field preferred
- Relevant experience or academic background in insurance or risk management
Work Environment
This role operates in a hybrid model, allowing team members to balance remote and in-office work. Office locations include Washington DC, Philadelphia, New York City, Hartford, Norwalk, Boston, and Portland, ME.
