Anaplan is hiring an Alliances Director

About the Role

Anaplan is looking for an Alliances Director to lead the success of our portfolio of SI partnerships and alliances in North America. In this senior role, you will collaborate with internal and external partners to deliver sourced and co-sold partner revenue and ensure partner delivery readiness.

What You'll Do

  • Drive the development of multi-year partner business plans, including goals, strategic solutions, investments, and talent development.
  • Work with GTM and product leadership to create originated and co-sold pipeline with SIs.
  • Selectively recruit, onboard, and develop new SI partners.
  • Expand both ACV and Services Revenue at target accounts through focused planning.
  • Drive market activation of applications and plays with partners in target industry sectors.
  • Provide oversight of the alliance, including approval of regional go-to-market strategy and stakeholder management.
  • Own all communication and activation across Anaplan and assigned partners to enable teams on GTM plays and offerings.
  • Lead overall stakeholder governance and collaboration across partner, alliance, and Anaplan leadership teams.
  • Continuously monitor and report on progress against business plan goals and partner success KPIs.
  • Assess partner and territory performance weekly to identify opportunities and drive corrective action.
  • Collaborate with Partner Success to drive appropriate sales and technical training for partners.
  • Function as an extended member of the GTM & Product team.
  • Align with Industry Partner Sales Directors on partner-driven opportunities, providing deal guidance from initiation to closure.

What We're Looking For

  • At least 5+ years in Partnerships, Alliances, or other sales-related roles.
  • Strong knowledge of partner, alliance, and channel go-to-market motions.
  • Previous experience in sales, go-to-market functions, alliances, or consulting.
  • Self-motivated, highly organized, and collaborative in developing strategic plans.
  • Ability to quickly establish credibility with partners and sales teams, inspiring trust as a business partner.
  • Strategic problem solver with effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Customer-focused, achievement-driven, and possessing an impressive executive demeanor.
  • True team orientation and excellent presentation and writing skills.
  • Solid level of business maturity and flexibility to adapt to a high-energy, dynamic environment.

Nice to Have

  • Experience within the finance, supply chain, or sales domain.

Team & Environment

You will collaborate with Alliance teams, Anaplan leadership, partner success, partner marketing, and customer success teams. This role functions as an extended member of the GTM & Product team.

Benefits & Compensation

  • Compensation range: $190,000—$257,000 USD.
