Aledade is hiring a Principal Engineer to lead the architecture and development of our AI Products & Platform. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the technical strategy and building robust AI systems that support healthcare transformation.
What You'll Do
- Architect and implement scalable AI/ML platform services and infrastructure
- Lead the design and development of AI-powered product features from conception to deployment
- Establish engineering best practices, standards, and patterns for AI product development
- Mentor and guide engineering teams on AI/ML system design and implementation
- Collaborate with Data Scientists, Product Managers, and other engineers to translate complex requirements into technical solutions
- Evaluate and integrate new technologies to enhance platform capabilities
What We're Looking For
- 10+ years of professional software engineering experience
- 5+ years of hands-on experience building and deploying production AI/ML systems
- Proven track record as a technical leader, architecting complex, large-scale platforms
- Deep expertise in cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP), distributed systems, and microservices
- Strong proficiency in Python and experience with ML frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical vision to diverse audiences
Nice to Have
- Experience in the healthcare technology or life sciences sectors
- Background in MLOps, including model lifecycle management and monitoring
- Experience with data engineering pipelines and large-scale data processing
- Knowledge of front-end technologies for building integrated product experiences
