OnePay is seeking an AI Research Intern to research agentic AI use cases and develop a prototype for customer-facing product features. This role directly impacts our vision by contributing to a remarkable customer experience, driving positive business outcomes, and improving operational efficiency.
What You'll Do
- Research agentic AI use cases for customer-facing product features.
- Develop a working prototype based on your research.
- Design, build, and productionize cutting-edge models.
- Partner with Product, Engineering, and Analytics teams to ensure a remarkable customer experience.
- Drive significant impact on the company’s bottom line.
What We're Looking For
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree, expected to graduate in Fall 2026 or Spring 2027, majoring in computer science, data science, operations research, applied math, stats, physics, or a related technical field.
- Proactive & collaborative attitude with an act-like-an-owner mentality.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Organized and detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Excited to learn and grow in a real-world startup setting.
- Available to work in our New York City office at least 3-4 days a week throughout the summer.
Nice to Have
- Completed a course or worked on a project related to Large Language Models (LLMs) or Generative AI.
Team & Environment
You'll work closely with product, engineering, and applied science team(s) across all business units, reporting to the Head of AI/ML.
