DEUS EX MACHINA is hiring an AI Product Designer to drive the user experience of our AI-powered SaaS platforms. As the sole Product Designer in the company, you will be responsible for shaping how our products look, behave, and evolve by translating the product vision into clear, intuitive user experiences.
What You'll Do
- Drive the user experience across platforms and define how users interact with our products.
- Translate product ideas and requirements into user workflows, interaction models, and product interfaces.
- Simplify complex systems and large datasets into interfaces for quick understanding and action.
- Create wireframes, UI mockups, and interactive prototypes for exploration and validation.
- Design experiences for users to interact effectively with AI-generated insights and tools.
- Work directly with software engineers to ensure practical and accurate design implementation.
- Advocate for the user perspective through discovery, usability testing, and feedback sessions.
- Define and evolve design principles and workflows for long-term product development.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in product design, UX design, or interaction design, ideally within SaaS environments.
- Experience using AI to design, QA, and deliver UI/UX experiences fast to clients and teams.
- Experience designing complex digital products, enterprise platforms, or highly scientific solutions.
- Proven ability to create user journeys, workflows, mockups, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs.
- Strong ability to translate complex ideas into simple product experiences.
- Experience working closely with product owners/managers and engineering teams.
- Excellent communication skills in English, with professional working proficiency in Greek.
- Familiarity with modern design tools such as Figma and AI assistants/add-on tools.
Nice to Have
- Experience designing data-rich interfaces or dashboards.
- Basic understanding of frontend technologies (HTML/CSS).
- Ability to quickly understand domain-specific concepts, such as scientific or analytical workflows.
