About the Role

Capgemini is seeking an AI Platform Architect for our insurance practice. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, leading, and governing the next-generation AI and machine-learning platforms that power core insurance functions. You will define the High-Level and Low-Level Design for an end-to-end platform built on AWS and Databricks, driving integration with enterprise systems.

What You'll Do

  • Define and own the HLD and LLD documentation for the AI platform on AWS and Databricks.
  • Design scalable, secure, and cost-optimized architectures for data processing, feature engineering, model training, and inference pipelines.
  • Establish standards, patterns, and best practices for platform components including Lakehouse architecture, MLOps, and data governance.
  • Architect and guide implementation of Databricks workspace setup, clusters, Unity Catalog, Delta Lake workflows, and model serving.
  • Lead the integration of the platform with key internal systems such as Radar, EDP (Enterprise Data Platform), and other upstream/downstream applications.
  • Design cloud-native solutions leveraging AWS services such as S3, IAM, Lambda, EMR, Glue, ECS/EKS, Step Functions, CloudWatch, and networking components.
  • Work closely with engineering teams, product owners, data scientists, and security/infra teams to align technical design with business goals.

What We're Looking For

  • Strong expertise with Databricks, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, MLflow, Workflows.
  • Proven experience designing scalable, secure, and cost-optimized architectures for data processing, feature engineering, model training, and inference pipelines.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish standards, patterns, and best practices for platform components including Lakehouse architecture, MLOps, and data governance.
  • Hands-on experience architecting Databricks workspace setup, clusters, Unity Catalog, Delta Lake workflows, and model serving.
  • Experience leading the integration of AI platforms with key internal enterprise systems and applications.
  • Deep knowledge designing cloud-native solutions leveraging AWS services such as S3, IAM, Lambda, EMR, Glue, ECS/EKS, Step Functions, CloudWatch, and networking components.
  • Strong collaboration skills to work closely with engineering teams, product owners, data scientists, and security/infra teams.

Nice to Have

  • Proficiency in Python/SQL and familiarity with CI/CD, Terraform/IaC is a plus.
