About the Role
The intern will assist in building and improving AI-driven systems that power conversational experiences, focusing on backend development, model integration, and system optimization.
Responsibilities
- Develop and refine backend services supporting AI applications
- Collaborate on integrating machine learning models into production workflows
- Improve reliability and performance of distributed systems
- Support the creation of scalable APIs for real-time interactions
- Monitor system behavior and respond to operational issues
- Work with data pipelines to manage large-scale user inputs
- Assist in testing new AI features before public release
- Document technical implementations and system changes
- Optimize infrastructure for cost and efficiency
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
- Troubleshoot issues across service boundaries
- Contribute to deployment automation and CI/CD processes
- Gather metrics to evaluate feature effectiveness
- Support security best practices in service design
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams on project goals
- Implement logging and observability tools
- Refactor legacy components for better maintainability
- Assist in defining service level objectives
- Work on fault-tolerant system designs
