HireHawk is hiring an AI Engineer - APIs & Automation to design and implement AI-powered solutions that enhance operational efficiency. In this remote role, you will focus on API integrations, workflow automation, and deploying AI tools to streamline critical business processes.

What You'll Do

Design and implement AI-driven solutions to automate internal workflows
Integrate AI models like LLMs and NLP tools into business processes
Develop custom AI applications to improve productivity and decision-making
Build and maintain API integrations between internal systems and third-party platforms
Connect AI services (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google AI, etc.) with CRM, marketing, and operational tools
Ensure secure and scalable API architecture
Monitor API performance and optimize reliability
Identify repetitive processes and design automation solutions
Implement workflow automation using tools such as Zapier, Make, n8n, or custom scripts
Improve data flow between systems to reduce manual work
Collaborate with operations and leadership to prioritize automation opportunities
Ensure secure handling of data across AI systems and integrations
Maintain documentation for APIs and automation processes
Follow best practices for version control, testing, and deployment

What We're Looking For

3+ years of experience in software engineering, AI engineering, or automation development
Strong experience working with APIs (REST, GraphQL)
Experience integrating AI/ML models into applications
Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, or similar programming languages
Experience with automation platforms (Zapier, Make, n8n, etc.)
Understanding of cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure)
Strong problem-solving and system design skills
