Abercrombie and Fitch Co. is looking for an Agent/Investigator, Asset Protection in the Houston area. You will be responsible for executing strategic Asset Protection initiatives across your assigned set of stores, implementing shortage reduction programs, and providing in-person and remote support to store management.
What You'll Do
- Perform operational audits focusing on sales floor fullness, stockroom organization, health and safety, HR compliance, and customer service.
- Routinely travel monthly to designated Focus Stores to manage the program, ensure compliance, and follow up on performance.
- Provide clear training to store personnel on Asset Protection Initiatives, safety guidelines, and crisis management.
- Complete Asset Protection and Physical Security audits on a routine basis.
- Optimize inventory accuracy through execution of physical inventories, store transfer monitoring, and OMNI compliance.
- Facilitate supply chain investigations to impact inbound carton loss and forced carton compliance.
- Proactively monitor systems and conduct surveillance to identify and investigate associate dishonesty.
- Conduct internal investigations for inventory loss, cash loss, and policy violations.
- Prepare detailed case reports covering investigation details.
- Manage initial investigative processes for all internal investigations within your assigned alignment.
- Serve as a liaison between store investigations and certified market interviewers.
- Support internal loss investigations throughout the assigned region while partnering with Global Home Office analysts.
- Conduct CCTV and floor surveillance to apprehend and deter theft per company policy.
- Initiate and resolve investigations related to Organized Retail Crime, partnering with law enforcement and other retailers.
- Represent the company in court proceedings related to investigations.
- Maintain effective relationships with store leaders, peer retailers, mall security, and local law enforcement.
- Utilize analytics software to develop specific store loss prevention strategies.
- Participate in corporate operational test programs to gauge viability and provide observational data for policy decisions.
- Ensure accurate execution of store programs and provide feedback to store leaders regarding operational efficiency.
- Identify and implement solutions to eliminate store margin erosion.
- Support new store openings through physical visitation and pre-open audits.
- Complete special projects as assigned by the Regional Manager of Asset Protection.
