AECOM is looking for a BIM Technician IV to join our team in Bogotá, Colombia. You will specialize in electrical network modeling, generating and developing detailed 3D models and technical drawings from initial concept to final delivery for building engineering projects. You’ll be part of a global team of over 50,000 professionals dedicated to delivering a better world through our infrastructure work.
What You'll Do
- Generate and develop 3D models and technical drawings from initial stage to final delivery, ensuring compliance with project requirements, regulations, and design criteria.
- Execute low to medium complexity design assignments under direct supervision, ensuring quality and accuracy of deliverables.
- Develop designs and technical drawings based on project specifications and verbal or written instructions, following organizational standards.
- Prepare 3D models and deliverables by interpreting 2D designs and verbal/written instructions.
- Develop deliverables autonomously, following specific project guidelines and established BIM criteria.
- Execute coordination activities as directed by the BIM team or project leader, ensuring integration of involved disciplines.
What We're Looking For
- Complete secondary education or Technical Diploma plus 6 years of experience in electrical network modeling, or equivalent demonstrated experience and education.
- Knowledge of the BIM 360 and ACC platforms.
- Knowledge of collaborative work on digital platforms.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
Nice to Have
- Intermediate proficiency in English.
