As an Advisor Consultant, you will play a key role in expanding market presence and asset growth across an assigned territory. Your primary focus will be cultivating lasting relationships with financial advisors, registered representatives, and key decision-makers at partner firms. Through in-person meetings, educational seminars, and client events, you will promote a comprehensive suite of investment solutions, including mutual funds, ETFs, separately managed accounts, and collective investment trusts.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales growth and increase assets under management by engaging advisors and institutions through proactive outreach and tailored presentations
- Collaborate with internal teams to design and execute strategic business plans aligned with market opportunities
- Deliver timely market updates and product insights to advisors, enhancing client engagement and responsiveness
- Utilize data analytics and technology tools to identify trends, track performance, and optimize outreach efforts
- Maintain compliance with regulatory standards, including proper use of marketing materials and adherence to licensing requirements
- Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and firm-level meetings
- Manage administrative responsibilities, including CRM updates and expense reporting, with accuracy and consistency
Qualifications
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field—or demonstrate equivalent professional experience. Required licenses include Series 7 and Series 63. The role demands regular travel, with approximately 80% of time spent in the field. Strong presentation skills, sound judgment, and a client-first mindset are essential. Ideal candidates will demonstrate resourcefulness, strategic thinking, and a consistent drive for results.
Preference will be given to those with at least five years of external wholesaling experience, established relationships within the territory, and a proven record of success within broker-dealer environments. Additional credentials such as CIMA or CFA are a plus. The successful candidate will thrive in a collaborative environment while delivering independently as a trusted advisor in the marketplace.
