VitalCheck is looking for an Advanced Practice Provider to join our mission of transforming healthcare delivery. You will be a key player in bringing high-quality, preventive dermatology care directly to employees in their workplace in Springfield, IL. This role focuses on performing skin cancer screenings and dermatological evaluations during scheduled onsite wellness clinics.
What You'll Do
- Set up and prepare the mobile clinic space within corporate environments to support employee wellness initiatives.
- Perform skin checks and skin cancer screenings, consult with patients to evaluate dermatological concerns, and provide appropriate patient education.
- Document patient encounters and screening results in accordance with clinical protocols.
- Provide recommendations for follow-up care and refer patients to dermatology specialists when appropriate.
- Deliver patient care independently while maintaining a professional and efficient clinic workflow.
What We're Looking For
- Active unrestricted Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant license to practice in Illinois, or Board-Certified MD or DO with an active, unrestricted license to practice in Illinois.
- Active BLS or ACLS certification required.
- Minimum 3 years of work experience with strong dermatology knowledge and hands-on clinical dermatology experience.
- For NP/PA: A collaborating physician is necessary unless state requirements for independent/autonomous practice are met.
- Proficient with computers, customer service-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Patient education driven.
- Must be able to reliably commute to Springfield, IL.
