Community Bank (My100 Bank) is seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our Special Assets Department. In this role, you will provide essential clerical support, ensuring smooth operations by coordinating payments, managing critical databases, and preparing reports.
What You'll Do
- Coordinate contact between customers and loan officers to arrange payments.
- Update and maintain the Special Asset database.
- Prepare and mail past due and demand letters upon lender request.
- Manage the loan adjustment form process for each region.
- Update problem loan status reports.
- Prepare monthly special assets reports.
- Perform quality assurance reviews.
- Scan files into the bank imaging system.
- Complete required BSA/AML and other compliance training.
What We're Looking For
- A high school diploma or GED.
- 2+ years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination.
- Ability to read and understand policy manuals, safety rules, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to communicate effectively in person and in small groups.
- Ability to calculate figures like discounts, interest, commissions, and percentages.
- Ability to apply concepts like fractions, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
- Ability to follow written, oral, or diagrammed instructions using common sense.
- Intermediate skills in 10-Key, Spreadsheet, and Word Processing/Typing.
- Basic skills in Accounting, Database, and Presentation/PowerPoint software.
