Cencora is hiring an Administration & Co-Pay Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will perform general administrative tasks and process copayment requests for patients, pharmacies, and physicians within our pharmaceutical assistance programs. You are responsible for managing multiple projects, maintaining office systems, and ensuring accurate payment processing and reporting, contributing to our mission of creating healthier futures.
What You'll Do
- Perform general administrative tasks such as handling mail, typing, and maintaining filing systems.
- Process copayment requests for patients, pharmacies, and physicians for programs offering copay assistance or concierge payments.
- Liaise with Program managers to ensure copayment KPIs are met.
- Liaise with ISI Accounting to ensure proper payment timeframes and accurate payments.
- Liaise with third-party payment administrators to ensure accurate electronic payment processing.
- Establish and maintain office files, make appointments, and arrange meeting rooms.
- Compile information from various sources to generate reports.
- Audit and maintain various reports specific to business location by checking for errors and inconsistencies.
- Update and maintain pertinent business information via computer or department files.
- Assist with a variety of scheduled and unscheduled projects occurring in the department.
- Draft and type correspondence and presentations for internal and external contacts.
- Manage multiple projects for many departments within a business segment or across multiple business segments.
- Interact frequently with inter-departmental associates and management to resolve workload issues.
- Maintain and promote positive and professional working relationships with associates and management.
- Comply with all appropriate policies, procedures, safety rules and regulations.
- Report all Adverse Events to the assigned units/departments.
What We're Looking For
- Post-secondary education in a related field.
- 3-5 years’ experience in an administrative role in a pharmaceutical setting.
- In-depth knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Proven accuracy when processing large amounts of data.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Adaptability to change and to learn new skills as required.
- Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills; ability to resolve issues effectively and efficiently.
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
- Ability to represent a positive and professional image.
- Ability to implement processes resulting in satisfactory audit practices and consistently meet deadlines.
- Strong business and financial acumen.
