NexTec Group is hiring an Acumatica Developer to deliver and support customer-driven business solutions. In this remote role, you will work closely with team members and clients on the implementation, coding, testing, and support of Acumatica ERP systems.
What You'll Do
- Write, modify, integrate, and test computer code for Acumatica software applications.
- Provide technical assistance and advice on ERP system implementation, including reports, customizations, data conversion, and integrations.
- Analyze and test system requirements.
- Develop and implement information systems development plans, policies, and procedures.
- Design and construct large relational databases and integrate new systems with existing structures.
- Confer with clients to identify and document requirements and conduct business and technical studies.
- Liaison between technical and non-technical clients to provide advice on information systems strategy, policy, management, security, and service delivery.
- Research new technologies and develop proofs of concept.
- Recommend, schedule, and perform software improvements and upgrades.
- Communicate effectively to ensure high quality and timely assistance on technical issues.
- Make well thought out decisions in situations requiring creative thinking and solutions to technical challenges.
What We're Looking For
- Two or more years of direct Acumatica experience.
- A four-year degree in Computer Science, MIS, Business, or a related subject.
- Five years of development or technical consulting experience.
- Experience working with customer-facing businesses and technical functions.
- Proficient in SQL, SSRS, ILS, Crystal, SharePoint, Active Directory, VB.Net, VBA, Asp.Net, C#, and/or HTML5/JavaScript.
- Acumatica Certified Application Developer Badge.
- The ability to adopt specific methodology and work within a team.
- An understanding of relational databases and object-oriented programming.
- Strong collaboration skills and a professional demeanor.
- Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
- The ability to be flexible with task assignments, priorities, and work environment.
- Open-minded with a desire to learn.
- A quick thinker and creative problem solver.
- Detail oriented with strong analytical, numerical, planning, and reasoning abilities.
- The ability to work both independently and on a team.
- Willingness to travel 10 to 15 percent of the time.
